Assistant Property Manager

Reports To: Property Manager
Position Summary
We’re hiring an Assistant Property Manager to help keep our portfolio running smoothly. You’ll support tenant and owner communication, assist with leasing and renewals, track work orders, and help coordinate vendors—while delivering excellent customer service and keeping organized records.
Key Responsibilities

Answer phones, emails, and portal messages professionally and promptly

Assist with leasing workflow (applications, screening steps, move-in coordination)

Create and track maintenance work orders; follow up with tenants and vendors

Schedule vendor access and communicate expectations clearly

Prepare notices and assist with basic compliance/administrative tasks

Maintain organized digital records and logs

Support the team with day-to-day office tasks as needed
Qualifications
-
1+ year of experience in property management, leasing, or office administration preferred

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented

Comfortable using software/portals (AppFolio, Buildium, Rent Manager, etc. a plus)

Professional attitude and strong customer service mindset

Must be able to handle multiple tasks and follow processes
